In a few days Blake and I are off to NYC to see the US Open. He knows I have always wanted to see these big matches, and set up the whole thing. If I weren't in the throws of back to school depression, I would be head over heels excited. I am excited to have a husband that really cares about me. I am blessed with a great family. I love them probably too much. So enough of my ramblings. I am sure I will pull myself together before you know it! Unless that is, I get mugged in NYC. Now that would be awful......

Back To School Blues
I have no great picture to share. Nothing really amazing has happened to even post a blog about. I am now left at home for the first time in a very long time of mothering. Only to realize that I am not done with this phase of my life. I am needing another child somehow. Hopefully the Lord will guide hubby and I in the right direction. I'm also all in a tailspin about Biden being the vice presidential candidate. I have never liked Biden, but I really like Obama. What's a girl to do about that situation?

Don't get too down. Just think of the possibilities! Take an institute class, go to the temple, volunteer somewhere, read some of those books that you never get a chance to look at, and before you know it, the kiddies are home and BAM! life is moving at break-neck speed again. Your NYC trip sounds wonderful!!! Take some pepper-spray. :)
I was broadsided by the loneliness when my youngest started 1st grade. And each year it happened again. It made me hunger for another child too, but that's not in the cards for us. Hang in there!
And have fun in New York. Blake gets big points for planning a trip for you!
Real emotions! I've wonder if Heavenly Father felt that way when we all went off to earth school!
I think we feel that way for a reason and if it were easy maybe it would mean that we didn't care very much?
My sister just sent her 18 yr. old off to college and spent the day crying. So, I guess we're all in this together!
Hope you have an enjoyable time in NY with just the two of you!
Love you lots!!!
Am taking Amber to Dr. Blotter today -- broken arm therapy! So, I just love you even more for that!!!
You are sweet to visit my blog. I'm just learning how to do it all and, no, I am not as advanced as you are with the music and photos and all. I'm just a beginner! But, I'm putting a link to your post on mine so I can keep track of all your wonderful comings and goings. You do much good and help many people! Perhaps I need to simplify more than other people because I just can't do it all! Love you much!
